AS OF 07/21/2016 – The Borough of Bath is currently hiring for the position of Public Works Seasonal Employee (Winter Maintenance).  The seasonal employee will augment the full-time public works crew on an “as-needed” basis.  The seasonal employee may be required to work day or night shifts for up to 12 hours.  Experienced Snow & Ice Control Plow and/or Heavy Equipment Operators are desired.  The seasonal employee may be required to perform snow and ice control with hand tools or other equipment as required.  The rate of pay while activated as a Public Works Seasonal Employee (Winter Maintenance) is $25.00 per/hour.  Applicants must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.  Applicants must possess a valid state driver’s license; a CDL is a plus.

Seasonal Employees will be compiled on an eligibility call-out list and subject to work various hours on short notice.  Work hours dependent on weather conditions and severity of winter storms throughout the winter season.  If interested in this position, you must be available to the Borough at any time from November 1, 2016 until April 15, 2017.

The Borough is currently hiring for the position of full-time Office Secretary.  Must be proficient in municipal government operations, have good people skills, have a solid working knowledge of Visual Utility Billing software, skills in computer software such as Word and Excel, and as Office Secretary, experienced with taking meeting minutes.  Must be a good listener and be able to multi-task.  As Office Secretary, you may be required to handle several projects at once at the direction of the Borough Manager.
