As part of the Borough’s overall efforts to improve services to its citizens, the Borough of Bath underwent a complete re-codification of its local laws on July 26, 2018. The last codification to have occurred in Bath was approximately 13 years earlier, making it difficult to understand the new laws that have been passed by Council from 2005 to 2018 that may have revised or replaced older laws.
Partnering with General Code, the new online Code provides convenient access to the Borough’s ordinances in a feature-rich format that has been specifically designed for optimal viewing on desktops, laptops, smartphones and other devices. The Borough’s online code offers the most flexible access for its citizens from any location– at home, work, or on-the-go.
Designed to be easy-to-use and search-friendly, the user experience is intuitive, elegant and highly functional. Capability the Borough did not have or could even offer its citizens prior to this re-codification.
Borough ordinances are now indexed and added to the code every year. The online code is updated in real-time, providing users the most accurate and up-to-date information than ever before. For those that do not have access to a computer, the Borough’s Code of Ordinances is also available for review in physical copy, at Borough Hall.
