Stormwater is rain and snowmelt that runs off roofs, driveways and streets into storm drains and, from there, into local streams such as the Monocacy Creek. Two programs manage it in Bath: the Bath Borough Stormwater Authority, which operates and maintains the stormwater system, and the Borough’s MS4 permit program, which the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) requires to reduce runoff pollution.
