UPDATE as of January 1, 2025: The Borough has created the Bath Borough Stormwater Authority for the purpose of managing the Borough’s Stormwater Management Program. The newly formed Authority will provide oversight of the Borough’s Pollution Reduction Plan, maintaining regulatory compliance, provide continued planning for operational maintenance of the Borough’s stormwater system, and provide resources to complete necessary and ongoing capital stormwater infrastructure improvements. For more information, visit the Bath Borough Stormwater Management webpage.
Bath has been working toward developing its Stormwater Management program as mandated by federal and state environmental regulators.
During the summer of 2023, the Public Works & Facilities Committee was transitioned to the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System or MS4 Committee to work on evaluating and developing Bath’s local MS4 program. Since the MS4 Committe’s first meeting, every agenda and meeting minutes have been available to the public. Meetings are also open to the public, which are held at Borough Hall on the fourth Monday of each month beginning at 5:00 PM.
For more information, please follow along with the Borough as it continues to develop the Stormwater Management program.
Please see the Borough’s MS4 Facts page for even more information.
